'The Predator' directed by Shane Black

This movie is really bad. I really wasn't asking much and it disappointed. Shane Black directed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and that was a great movie. He should be able to handle this material. He wrote and acted in the original Predator. They brought him on to direct and what could be more in Shane Black's wheelhouse. It should have been a cinch. They got a fun enough cast, Keegan Michael Key, Olivia Munn and Thomas Jane are in it. I like all those people.

This movie should have been way better. It sucked so badly.

It underestimates the intelligence of the prepubescent audience its going for. Literally a 10 year old would write much better dialog. The characters are shit, the plot is shit, the effects are sub par/shit. It comes across as forced, its preposterously lame. It ridicules the mentally ill. Its so not clever. Its a bore.

Predator 1 and 2 are both amazing movies. That Adrien Brody movie was dope.

This is your reboot?

Its a mess.

Its an alien abortion. just avoid. Do the Predator you remember from your childhood a favor and look away.
